Have you ever wondered what your child without Down syndrome is carrying quietly?
Siblings of people with Down syndrome often hold a unique mix of love, pride, responsibility, worry, and big questions about the future. But they don’t always have spaces to talk about it.
Plus One is a new NZDSA project for siblings aged 18+, offering online workshops to connect, share, and talk honestly about the good, hard, and complicated parts of sibling life.
If you have an adult child who has grown up alongside a sibling with Down syndrome, this is a space for a much-needed debrief.
Our first online session is Wednesday 8 July, 7.00 to 7.45pm.
