Maia Faulkner has been the Zone representative for Auckland for nearly 3 years. She is a parent to Kaiden who is 10 years old with a dual diagnosis of down syndrome and autism. Maia is the current chairperson of the Auckland Down Syndrome Association. Her paid work is also in the disability sector in Tamaki Makaurau providing residential and supported living services to adults with intellectual disabilities. She is a strong advocate for inclusion, diversity and equity in the community.
