Wellington Down Syndrome Association

The Wellington Down Syndrome Association (WDSA) is a non-profit organisation that
supports people with Down syndrome and their families within the greater Wellington region
(which includes Kapiti and Wairarapa) by providing encouragement, advocacy, information and
resources to parents, caregivers, families, whānau and health professionals.

The WDSA also run events like the ‘Frances Clarke’ community awards and the annual WDSA
Christmas party, as well as local age group catch ups and other opportunities for people within the
local Down syndrome community to connect and build relationships.
