Last week, we had the honor of being hosted at Government House by The Rt Hon. Dame Cindy Kiro and Dr. Richard Davies for the NZDSA National Achievement Awards. It was a fantastic afternoon, highlighted by Paul Simmons receiving the Val Sturgess National Volunteer Award Citation on behalf of RRT. Alfie Linn, Hamish Gilbert, and Luka Willems were also recognized with National Achievement Awards.![]()

The NZDSA was proud to introduce the new members of STRIVE: Abigail Knight, Mohit Chand, Vincenzo Vaccarino, Rochelle Waters, and Peter Rees.![]()

The Disability Support Services Taskforce is working on how disability support services should best be provided in the future. As part of this process, they are seeking consultation from the community on how these services are currently being delivered.![]()

Your participation is crucial to ensuring that the voices of the Down syndrome community are heard. Together, we can advocate for better, more effective disability support services for everyone.![]()

2. Join an online session with members of the NZDSA National Team to discuss your experiences. We’ll gather your feedback to help us create an official NZDSA submission to the Taskforce.![]()
